Having never done anything physical for a number of years, at the age of 47 my wife and I decided we wanted to do something to get improve our overall fitness. We knew we knew we would need to seek out a Personal Trainer to give us the motivation. From the offset Ben was brilliant. After an initial conversation by phone Ben visited us at home to have a full consultation. We instantly felt at ease.
We initially had circuit sessions in our garden together, however within a few months our confidence had grown and Ben suggested we might like to try a session at the gym with him. That was back in September 2018 and now we both love going to the gym and haven’t looked back. Yes at times it tough but Ben has the experience and knowledge of when to push me, and more importantly when to ease back and change things. His vast knowledge and ability to support clients both physically and nutritionally sets him apart from the rest.
I now have weekly sessions with Ben and also train independently using session plans he provides and updates each week. He praises us and challenges us at the right times and makes each session and workout interesting and fun.
Now 18 months on I feel my progress has been significant, its not just been about lifting heavier weights, its also been about improving overall fitness, and I put this down to the fact that I look forward to training and with Ben’s support I look after myself more out of the gym too.
And to top it all Ben is a great guy and someone we think of as a friend.
