Stretching

Stretching is vital, yet the majority of people probably haven't stretched since they did P.E. class at school! Tight muscles lead to postural imbalances, reduce range of motion, increase risk of injury and inevitably lead to pain. All of this can be avoided by simply stretching. 

 

One technique we like to use is 'PNF stretching' (assisted stretching). It is an advanced stretching technique which is excellent for increasing flexibility. In all of our Personal Training sessions different stretching techinques will be used including simple ones you can do yourself before the session. 

 

If you are someone who is very unflexible, has tight muscles and feel unable to move as freely as you would like, we offer 15 minute and 25 minute stretching sessions.
